August 19th from 1:00 to 4:00pm join Chef Dayna Halprin on Wild Roots Farm for a cooking class!
Chef Dayna Halprin of Early Bird Cookery is a Sullivan County native with degrees in both Sustainable Agriculture and Culinary Arts. Dayna uses her experience and knowledge of farming and food to create seasonal farm to table cuisine. Dayna was an intern at Wild Roots Farm in 2009, and is excited to be back at the farm for this wood fired cooking class. We will harvest the season’s freshest produce from the Wild Roots garden, and then prep and cook them in the outdoor wood fired bake oven. We will be discussing cooking techniques, food politics, and sustainability. Blending Dayna’s culinary expertise with Amy’s gardening and foraging lifestyle will make this afternoon scrumptious.
The cost of the class is $60 per person. Register below.
We hope to see you around the oven!
